Perfect spot for a couple's getaway
The location was quiet, nestled in a charming village, rich in history. The owner made us a delicious full English breakfast, cooked just for us, and that was something I certainly didn’t expect.
It wasn't exactly light on the wallet, but I found it acceptable.

Charming stay in a historic pub
We had a lovely time in a cozy room above an ancient pub. The location was serene and steeped in history, and the freshly cooked breakfast was a highlight, personally prepared by the owner. The friendly staff made our short stay memorable, but a little more attention to the room's decor could enhance the experience.

The stay had its ups and downs. While the location has a lovely village charm and the cooked English breakfast was great, accessing the bedrooms was quite difficult, especially with outside stairs and a bumpy path. The outdoor noise from patrons below our room made it hard to sleep on Friday and Saturday nights. the staff were friendly and the ambiance of the pub was inviting, making it an overall enjoyable visit.

i spent three nights in a lovely double room with private bathroom, and the breakfast was excellent – even the bacon was cooked to perfection, making my mornings delightful while staying just a few steps away from beautiful parks and easily accessible landmarks.

The coaching inn is a delightful blend of history and comfort with spacious, characterful rooms. The locally sourced full English breakfast was a highlight and personally cooked by the owner. live music on Saturday night extended well past the advertised time, making it difficult to sleep. Once the pub closed, the surrounding area was peacefully quiet, a welcome contrast to the evening's entertainment.
